We dedicate ourselves to preserving the memory of those veterans who have gone before us and those who are still Missing in Action.

Veteran Outreach

Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.

Buddy Poppies

The Buddy Poppy is the official memorial flower of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The VFW conducted its first Buddy Flower distribution in 1922 and the tradition continues as a symbol of remembrance of the sacrifice made by our veterans.

VFW Post 4548 Riders Group

Join our local VFW Riders Group as our motorcycles and trikes enjoy the open roads and beautiful views of Arkansas!

Pool Tournaments

Pool Tournaments happen on Wednesday and Friday evenings
Eligible members and invited guests are welcome

Bingo

On Sundays, doors open at 2pm and Bingo begins at 4pm
On Wednesdays, doors open at 4pm and Bingo begins at 6pm

As our country's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome current military service members into our ranks to become part of our dedicated group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether located in WWII theaters, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, or elsewhere. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Membership Meetings: The Jacksonville VFW Post 4548 monthly membership meeting is held every second Thursday of the month.  Feel free to contribute to and enjoy potluck at our meetings!
